Hello, RACQ?

Anyone else made this call, sitting on the side of the road at Taringa, 1800 on a Wednesday night and I’d just managed to drive the old girl up the gutter on the starter motor.

Reckon I would’ve done something about sorting out the fuel gauge after near on 10 years wouldn’t you.

So what’s the issue?

Flasher on the Loose

Yeah yeah, forget it… I was never that good looking for it to be worthwhile…

However, the LED lighting on the car, now that’s seeexxyyy, apart from the epilepsy triggering flash rate, so this is the simple fix.

When I bought the Ford XB 4WD it had a hell of a lot of rust in it. The roof around the gutter, part of the firewall, the boot and then where the heater gets its fresh air from had completely rusted out.

A Touch Of Colour

Well it’s been a while since Pinball got its shiny paint job, I tried to cut it back to quickly (only a week to cure) and paid the price with some dulling on the test patch.

How do I cure this blight upon my shininess?

More paint, colour this time as background panels for the sponsor decals I’m getting made up by The Sign Place (thanks Steve, 33511966).
