Remember I said young Mr DeBrueys was hard to trace, well I wasn’t lying, but time can be a funny thing.
Between a bit of chasing through people I knew in offroad CAMS circles and the Outerlimits forum, I got an accurate mobile on him, which I left multiple voice mails on, which he eventually returned when he got back to mobile range.
Now while good with a welder and steel, Chris doesn’t seem to have net access, so emailing my proposal wasn’t going to work, but a long familiarity with the vehicle on his part, and pics of one he’d done on mine, allowed us to talk over what I wanted on the phone.
The deal was cut and done, $1500 clean swap for a six point cage!
I feel gooood…
Well another event down.
